pepsodent – new formula

“You’ll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent!”  Pepsodent was a very popular toothpaste around the 1950′s until the likes of Crest and Colgate moved in.  This commercial mentions “I.M.P.”, their whitening agent and we still have yet to figure out what that was exactly.  They also threw in irium as a decay-fighting ingredient.  Irium is also known as sodium lauryl sulfate, a surfactant common in today’s toothpastes as well.
